DRESDEN-concept Genome Center
The DRESDEN-concept Genome Center (DcGC) constitutes a shared technology resource that offers the infrastructure for a broad range of state-of-the-art genomic technologies.
We provide strong expertise in the areas of
- Single cell applications
- Spatial genomics applications
- De novo genome sequencing and assemblies
- A broad range of bulk NGS applications
The DcGC is a joint sequencing center between the Technical University of Dresden and the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG), and one of four DFG-funded German competence centers for next generation sequencing (NGS-CC).
These next generation sequencing (NGS) and associated technologies are available to researchers in the area of life sciences on the Dresden campus and jointly provided by the teams of the Deep Sequencing Facility at the Technology Platform of the Center for Molecular and Cellular Bioengeneeriung(CMCB) and the Sequencing and Genotyping Core of the MPI-CBG.
